Corvaden

Most repair work does not need a drydock. A large share of what actually stops a vessel — wasted plate, a leaking spool, a failed pump, cracked structure in a ballast tank — can be executed alongside or at anchorage with the right crew, the right procedure and the right permits, while the vessel keeps her schedule.

Corvaden mobilises that crew. A project engineer, repair foreman, qualified welders, fitters and safety cover travel to the vessel with the equipment and consumables the scope requires.

Where a docking genuinely is required, Corvaden arranges it through partner yards and supervises the work on the owner’s behalf. Corvaden owns no dock capacity and has no commercial interest in filling one, so the recommendation to dock — or not to dock — is made on the condition of the vessel and nothing else.
